The free dental classifieds at www.ADTO.org will help anyone in the Dental Technology Community. You can quickly and easily view and post jobs ads, seminar ads or general classifieds for free. Many of you who are familiar with Internet conventions can just go to our classifieds now to view and post ads. What type of ads can I view in ADTO Free Dental Classifieds?
The ADTO Classifieds has 4 main sections where you can view and post ads; Dental Laboratory Careers, Dental Industry Careers, Classifieds for items wanted or for sale and Technical Events. There is also a Marketplace Section where dental labs and businesses can post an ad for their business.

Who can post ads?
Anyone in the dental technology community can post ads in the ADTO Classifieds for free. Dental labs or Dental industry companies can post ads looking for employees.

What type of ads would a Dental Lab typically place?
A Dental Lab can post ads for technicians, office staff or sales reps in the careers section. A lab can post ads to sell used equipment or supplies in the general classifieds section. A lab can post an ad to sell the lab itself in the Business Opportunities section of the General Classifieds. If a lab conducts event of interest to technicians it can be posted in the Technican Events section.

What type of ads would a Dental Manufacturer or Dealer place.
These types of businesses can advertise for techicians in the Technical Careers section and for dental sales or management in the Careers: Dental Industry section. If the business has some sell-offs or discounted items or used items and equipment it can be posted in the General Classifieds. Businesses can also create their own Marketplace Dirctory explaining who they are and what they do.

Can Technicians place ads for jobs?
Yes. A dental technician can place an ad looking for a job and dental labs and businesses can contact the person through the ad, anonymously if desired.

How is an ad placed anonymously?
Some ad posters may wish to remain anonymous for various reasons. Perhaps a company does not wish anyone to know they are look for another employee. Perhaps a technician already has a job but wishes to look elsewhere. If this is the case, the ad poster just makes sure that non-identifying information is not put in the ad. However, ad viewers an "reply to ad" and our message service will deliver messages for them. This ensures anonymity.

How does the Message Service work?
It is quite simple. When people post an ad the enter their email address which is not put in the ad. When someone "replies to an ad" they type a message and include their email address. Our anonymous messaging services delivers messages back and forth between the ad hunter and the ad poster so that no email addresses are know by anyone.

Why do ad posters have to register an account?
This is because each ad belongs to the person who posted it. Only they will receive the "reply to ad" messages, only they can edit or delete the ad. They gain access to their ad through their Username and Password which they create for themselves when they create their free account. Those interested in seeing how this is done can download the "How to View and Post Ads" mentionsed in the opening paragraph of this page.

Can a company have more than one free account?
Yes. In some instances a company will have 2 accounts; one for their open ads and one for their anonymous ads.

What geographic area is served by the ads?
All of North America and beyond.
Most sections are categorized by state and province. Word-of-mouth has made the ADTO ads very popular in Ontario. If other states and provinces started to use and tell others about ADTP Free Classifieds they would be poplular everywhere. This is why we encourage everybody to "spread the word" to the technical community everywhere. It will "Help Us to Help You"

What is "Auto-Notify"
Ad hunters do not have to visit the classifieds to find out about ads of interest to them. They can create an "Auto-Notify" Search Agent which will constantly watch for ads of interest to them and once one is posted the Auto-Notify will immediately send them an email with a link to the new ad.

How does "Search" work?
At the top of the classifieds is a search box. The viewer simply enters a keyword such as Toronto or Ivoclar or porcelain or ceramist in the box and clicks on the "Search" button. Any ads that contain any of these keywords will be presented to the searcher.

Events and seminars are important. Why aren't there more seminar ads posted here?
The biggest problem that companies have is getting a good turnout for their seminars. The biggest problem for technicians is knowing about upcoming seminars. Anyone can post their seminars here; lab sales reps, inside marketing staff ... anyone. Also, technicians can create Auto-Notify agents to immeditely inform them of new seminars. I think we have to get the word out to the companies about the valuable tool awiting here for them to use for free. If the bosses knew for sure they'd be telling their staff to get busy! Why not??
